Science at global level has been divided traditionally in two great branches: by a side the theoretics science that operates on the other hand with abstract mathematical objects and, the experimental science, that it looks for to make measurements direct of the phenomena of the nature. Some decades ago it was impossible to think that another branch could arise from the science that it would complement to the two existing ones. Nevertheless, nowadays it is clear that this exists and "computacional simulation" is called to him.

The beginning of this new branch of science can be located at the beginning of the Forties of the last century, as a resultof the appearance of computers with great capacity of processing. The then simulations had great height, mainly impelled due to World War II by the necessity to make simulations of flight paths of chohetes. Simultaneously, the scientists began to design efficient algorithms that allowed to do more and better calculations. East dice context, at the present time turnsout dificĂ­l to visualize to science without this third branch, which becomes patent if we considered that scientific articles exiten more and more that use the simulations of direta or indirect form to obtain their results. The simulations by means of conputadora are now indispensable in diverse scientific disciplines: Physics, chemistry, mathematics, Biology, astronomy, genetics, etc. The own computacional simulation has even contributed to the creation of new disciplines: Bioinformatica, Design Attended by Computadora (CAD), etc.

Nevertheless, because the scientific questions tend to increase their complexity, it has become essential therefore, to count on greater being able of calculation, which has created as well, one urgent and prevailing necessity to make investigation and development of better platforms of calculation.
